Recap: RENDEZ-VOUS Vancouver

On September 26, we came together at LaSalle College Vancouver for CLIA’s very first RENDEZ-VOUS in Western Canada. What made the night truly energizing was meeting you, our colleagues, and friends who showed up to connect, share, and celebrate our community. The conversations around the room were inspiring. From stories of local challenges to visions for the future of our sector, it was clear how much strength we gain when we listen to each other and bring regional voices into our national dialogue.

A heartfelt thank you to Angela Sasso for her advocacy and commitment to Western representation, to Silvia Xalabarde for her support and contributions, and to Vlad Fox for his tireless coordination with our hosts, guests, and partners. Your combined efforts made the evening seamless.

CLIA exists because of members who are engaged and passionate like you, who believe in the importance of a strong, united language sector across Canada. Your participation in Vancouver showed just how powerful that vision is when we gather face to face.
