About Our Association 

The Canadian Language Industry Association (CLIA) brings together all stakeholders of Canada’s language sector to strengthen, promote, and advance the industry nationally and globally. Our collaborative network includes language service companies, academia, language professionals, standards organizations, technology providers, research institutions, government bodies, buyers of language services, and partner associations.

Our core members are language companies, ranging in size from micro-businesses to large enterprises. Other non-voting membership categories are available for government organizations, academic institutions, international and nonprofit partners, and individuals. 

Guided by an active volunteer Board of Directors, CLIA works to ensure the Canadian language industry remains competitive and innovative.
