CLIA President Panelist at Annual ALC Summit

Peter Madahian, President of the Canadian Language Industry Association, participated in the Partner Association Panel at ALC’s 23rd Annual Summit in New Orleans in September.

On member attraction and retention:

Peter highlighted CLIA’s dedication to delivering strong value for membership, by not only focusing on our flagship annual event, WorldSpeak, but also by working to equip members with tools to succeed in a shifting landscape, and by maintaining year-round engagement through events like RENDEZ-VOUS that enable direct connection within our community.

On collaboration:
Peter described our active efforts to build strategic partnerships with other associations. He emphasized our ongoing focus on meaningful conversations and joint initiatives that advance shared goals and reinforce the strength and cohesion of the broader language industry ecosystem.
